Watercolour Blossoms – Materials

Back home again and creating art from the comfort of my own space. Tonight’s art was done in the comfort of my couch, relaxing and catching up from a whirlwind Toronto trip with very little sleep!

I did this with my Prisma Watercolour pencil set, the Spring & Fall collection in my Moleskine Watercolour art journal.

I debated bringing these to Toronto with me. I’m a little sad I didn’t, I could have done a lot more than I did if I had some colours.

Oh well, right? I love the little arts I made while there and now I know for next time, pack a few more art supplies!

Embrace Imperfections Process Video

I’m very happy to share the video for yesterday’s 366 Days of Art piece! This one was so fun to make and the colours have totally inspired me (today’s art is totally based on yesterday’s colours!).

Thanks for watching and please, let me know what you think!

Embrace Imperfections Watercolour Page

Today was a conglomeration of a lot of different materials and techniques. It was messy and fun, the way all art should be!

I set up the camera (really, my iPhone on a selfie stick) and managed to video today’s art so I’ll be working on getting that up tonight.

As I said, a lot of fun today and used some new to me materials. I thought I was going to try out my new Prima Watercolour Pencils but ended up not needing them for this page. I did use my new Neocolor II crayons which were super fun.

Today’s materials came from The Paint Spot, Michaels, and DeSerres.

Blue Girl Materials

Today was fun. I wanted to use watercolours and the elegant writer pens again and wanted to try them with a girl. I wanted to make her hair to be blowing in the wind and see what kind of textures is get with the pencils and pens. And lots and lots of water.

I’d like to think this is who I might be on the inside. Bright, colourful, and sparkling. It doesn’t come out often but I think this is who I am when I create art.

Here is the link to today’s 366 Days of Art.

I used my Watercolour pencils again, along with my Sakura Pigma Micron pen.

I again ended up making a couple different pictures. This is the only other one I liked.
