Planning My Garden Painting

Today, I sat on my deck, in the full sun and doodled up this quick flower painting.

Ok, I’m calling it a painting, but really, it’s not.  I used my new Prima Water Soluble Oil Pastels and my Kuretake water brush to do this. Instead of drawing right on the page with the pastels, I used the waterbrush to pick up the colours straight from them and then applied it to the page.

I then doodled the flowers on top of the colours with my fine Elegant Writer pen.
It was very quick, but absolutely delightful to sit out on my deck and create art while dreaming of making this year’s’ garden magnificent.
